This project focused on developing a concert poster and complementary merchandise inspired by Dua Lipa’s Future Nostalgia album. The design draws from retrofuturist aesthetics, rooted in early interpretations of the future seen in media like
The Jetsons and the visual work of illustrator Bruce McCall. Key elements include a dreamy city in the clouds, bright neon colors reminiscent of Mario Kart’s Rainbow Road, and graphic motifs pulled directly from the album — such as the convertible car and large blue moon.
To support the concert experience, a series of branded merchandise was created that extends the visual identity of the poster. This included rubber bracelets in two-tone pink and blue, mirroring the dominant colors of the album cover and featuring typography inspired by the album’s interior design. Paper tickets were designed to align visually with the poster’s aesthetic, maintaining cohesion across all materials. Additionally, collectible pins were developed, with each one inspired by a different track on the album, further reinforcing the connection between the music and the brand experience.

This project blends nostalgic imagery with bold, futuristic visuals to create a cohesive and immersive branding experience for a conceptual concert event.
